The road comes down to three guidelines: • Don’t compare yourself to the others - focus on your own rhythm; • Move beyond self-pity and choose what gives you strength; •Keep walking - you’ll reach your ultimate goal only if you don’t stop.
By doing only what we are willing to do, we can easily get trapped into apathy.
The ups and downs in life require commitment to a conscious living that could save us from feeling arrogantly happy or extremely devastated.
If we get too ambitious, the pain will teach us to be moderate. If we compare ourselves to others, the pain will force us to stop doing that. If we reach too far beyond our capacity, we will manage to do a way too little on the following day.
How can I overcome what I think I am to be capable of becoming what I dream of?
silence is not the opposite of speech, but just another way of expressing ourselves.
Knowing what we really need is a lifetime gift.
