I don’t like telling people things they don’t want to hear, but I remind myself that by providing negative feedback, I’m investing in the people I’m talking to. If I didn’t think they were any good, I’d not bother telling them they did something wrong, I’d just not hire them again. Keeping that in mind has helped me give better critique.
