A personal library is a lifelong investment in time and money.
A reader must invest in books to build a personal library. Remember, this is an investment in lifelong learning.

Strengthening knowledge is critical to lifelong development. Reading is a great way to build upon knowledge. But reading is only part of development. To fully develop, you must do something with what you have read. You must synthesize and evaluate what you read.

Do not hoard the information learned when reading a good book. Instead, share knowledge with others through blogging, vlogging (video blogging), and discussion. Take time to teach others what you have learned. Finally, share what you are reading.
As John F. Kennedy said, “The rising tide lifts all the boats.”
Teaching what you learn provides a better understanding. Everyone wins.
