Persephone wiped her face and for the first time since Sade walked in, she spoke. “He’s a rapist,” she said, quietly. So quiet that Sade almost didn’t catch it. “What?” she asked, as a reflex, though she had heard her clearly. Sade’s heart stopped. “Jude. He’s a rapist.”
