Patron Saints of Nothing

Second, the Church may not be all bad. I met one old woman who had been doing this every week for the last forty-eight years. Even if God does not exist, this woman has been doing good in His name so maybe it does not really matter. I only wish the Church were more like her and less like the priests who abuse their powers.

Instead, I am thinking that in some ways it might be easier to live there than here with him. But maybe I can only think that because it is not my life.
