Jesus was so famous for His dinner parties that He even had a reputation as a party animal! It was said of Jesus, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard.’ (Luke 7:34) Now I am certain that Jesus was neither of these things, but He must have done something for people to speak of Him like that. It seems his dinner parties were pretty raucous occasions! Would a man, who just nibbled on a piece of bread and sipped at his drink really be accused of being a glutton and a drunk?!
