Great advisors are incredibly helpful, will shepherd you across the finish line, are worth a ton, and should be compensated well. Terrible advisors are incredibly damaging, will screw up an otherwise good situation, and often still get paid well. Bar none, picking a great team of advisors is the most important transaction decision you’ll make.
