In October 2017, BrainCo Inc. received $15 million in funding from Chinese investors to develop their new technology, whereby “students sit at desks wearing electronic headbands that report EEG data back to a teacher’s dashboard, and that information purports to measure students’ attention levels.” Never mind that no one has any idea if it works.
