Nice to meet you Steve.” It doesn’t matter if I think you look like a Steve. You identify as Dave, and someone who deliberately calls you the wrong name is being uncivil. When someone uses the wrong name or pronouns with a transgender person, this is deliberately offensive, and would be treated as such.
