“Phillip, don’t you get it? I don’t want to lose you. You’re my family, my only family. I’d be alone if it wasn’t for you.”
“And you think you’re the right one?” “Yeah, I do. I’m the one,” he says, pointing to his chest.
“Princess, I’ve always been the one.”
When I kiss Phillip, I feel like I’m home, like I’m exactly where I belong. It’s a weird and wonderful and very scary feeling.
What I saw was you all snuggled up with Phillip. He had his arm wrapped around you. Your head was on his chest. And that’s when it hit me. I think, even when we were little, I knew you two had a special bond, something I wasn’t part of.
Danny gave me a cute magnet for Christmas last year. It said, The trouble with trouble is it always starts out as fun. That pretty much sums up our relationship.
“You ever decide you want to try this for real, you know where to find me. It’s your move,”
“Come on, Princess.” He sighs as he scoops me up off the sand and carries me to my room. “I’m not going to be able to sleep unless I know you’re safe.”
if Phillip had to choose between them and me, he would always pick me.
He was my rock. I don’t think I could have gotten through it without him.
“First, I want to tell you that I love you, that I’m in love with you. I know you wanted me to be serious when I said it, and I am. Princess, I have loved you for as long as I can remember.”
“He reminded me of when we were ten, and he gave me my first kiss. We were on the swings out behind school, and right after he kissed me, he got up and ran away. Then, all of a sudden, he stopped, turned around, and yelled back, ‘Will you marry me someday?’”
