Bob Dylan discovered the Bengali singing mystics; John Coltrane explored half-tone riffs in his jazz music. People were seeking answers in those undecipherable microtones and unseen notes that can never quite be transcribed, nor fully owned, realising perhaps that life’s rational, perceived notes have limitations.
