Jesus died a victim of Judeo-Christianity’s filicidal tendencies. His alleged father has him tortured and murdered by the state out of some perverse love: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only son.”24 The first epistle of John, 1 John 4:7–21, exalts this sacrifice and betrays the writer’s ignorance of the true meaning of love, although he uses the word nearly thirty times in the passage.
