Did he really suggest this? Can’t link where exactly from Kant’s small texts above he would consider all lies to be immoral but rather that we have a moral code within us that would guide our decisions? If that would be truly what he meant the surely a moral code would lead to a conclusion that lying to fulfil the moral purpose in our own selves would be appropriate?
