There are over eighteen hundred prophecies in God’s Word concerning the first and second coming of Jesus Christ alone!
Isaiah’s prophecy, written 740 years before the birth of Jesus, declared, “Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once?” (Isa. 66:8). Secular Israel was born that day.
God promised to make Abraham a blessing to many. Just think what the world would be missing had it not been for the Jews. Without the Jews, we would have no Bible. Without the Jews, there would be no Ten Commandments, the basis of jurisprudence among most of the civilized nations of the world. Without the Jews, there would have been no Jesus. Without the Jewish Jesus, there would be no Christianity.
God promised to bless those who blessed Israel and curse those who cursed her.
No provision was made for this covenant to be revoked, and it was not subject to amendment or annulment.
The turmoil over Israel’s right to its land will not cease till the end, for the land provision of the Abrahamic covenant is at the core of the hatred of Middle Eastern nations for Israel today.
Then why did God choose the Jews? The answer: because it was His sovereign purpose to do so.
There are still two pivotal prophecies concerning Israel that have not yet been fulfilled: Israel does not yet occupy all the land originally promised to it, and its people have not yet turned to Christ.
Only Christ’s return, His judgment, and His reign will finally bring true peace to Israel.
This leader will emerge from the group of ten to take control of the European coalition and become the final world dictator. We know him as the Antichrist. We must not miss this point: the European Union is a prelude to the coming of the Antichrist.
Thus we have the time of the Russian invasion of Israel pinpointed. It will come after Israel returns to its homeland, after it has become highly prosperous, and after the implementation of the seven-year peace treaty with the Antichrist.
Our leaders realized that once America failed to acknowledge that we were under God, our basis for freedom and equitable government would come crashing down.
when America turns from its position of being under God, we can no longer expect His blessings on this nation to continue.
Christian behavior angers non-Christians because it makes them feel judged. It resurrects the moral accountability that God planted in every human heart.
When Christianity arouses the consciences of non-Christians, their response is seldom to accept the message but rather to silence the messenger.
Paul tells us in the second chapter of Thessalonians that this coming world ruler will not be revealed until after the Rapture of the church. “So if you ever reach the point where you think you know who he is, that must mean you have been left behind.”2
Religion has always been a powerful force in influencing humanity. Therefore, Satan will use religion as one of his most effective tools to bring the world under the control of the Antichrist.
