One way to help ensure that you follow through with your process is to schedule it, ideally as a recurring appointment. You must be proactive with your days and how you spend your time, or nothing will change.
I’ve found that if something isn’t important enough to make it onto your schedule, chances are it’s not going to happen. At least not consistently.
I recommend scheduling weekly or monthly check-ins with yourself to see if your process warrants tweaking based on your results so far.
it’s imperative that the more successes you have, the more you continue to elevate and evolve your goals.
Keep in mind that his Extraordinary Effort was merely practicing for fifteen to thirty minutes each day. That feels pretty ordinary. What made it extraordinary was his commitment and consistency over an extended period of time,
“The micro done over and over again creates the macro.”
You associate some level of pain, fear, or discomfort with the activity you’re procrastinating about. That’s it. To overcome procrastination, understand that all of that pain, fear, and discomfort is imagined. It’s all in your head.
You must replace fear-based thinking with faith-based thinking. You must be willing to let go of any limitations that you’ve carried with you from your past, and see yourself as someone who is just as worthy, deserving, and capable of creating everything you want as any other person on Earth.
“We become what we think about.” The Buddha stated, “We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.”
Untrue Statements Make You Feel Inauthentic
The truth—your truth—will always prevail.
Passive Language Deters You from Taking Action
We do need to do something, something very specific, to achieve our goals. Remember, every result you want in your life is preceded by a process. You need to define and implement your process. Affirm that, and now you’re getting somewhere.
You’ve got to win in your mind before you win in your life.
Affirmations will accomplish two outcomes: Upgrade and reprogram your subconscious mind by minimizing or eliminating any inherent conflicts that are holding you back while actively instilling the Unwavering Faith you need to accomplish anything that you choose Direct your conscious mind toward the activities that you deem to be most important and keep you engaged in the Extraordinary Effort necessary to move your biggest goals from possible to probable to inevitable
“I am committed to living every day as the best version of myself.”

Be willing to be uncomfortable. Be comfortable being uncomfortable. It may get tough, but it’s a small price to pay for living a dream. —PETER MCWILLIAMS, AUTHOR
One of the saddest things is to go through life knowing that you’re not achieving and/or contributing all that you can.
four inherent conflicts: The irrational fear of opportunity versus maintaining the status quo: Do you fear opportunities? Misdirected Entitlement versus Enlightened Entitlement: Do you feel undeserving? Potential Dysmorphia versus actualized potential: Do you not see your true capabilities? The world defines you versus you define you: Do you allow others to limit you?
I understood that if there is any real secret of success, it’s this: Stay committed to your process without being emotionally attached to your results.
What was my biggest win in the last twenty-four hours? Did I follow through with my process? What was my biggest area of improvement? Is there anything I could have done differently or better? What lessons have I learned so far? Do I need to make any changes or adjustments to my process? Is there anyone else I can reach out to for advice or feedback?
“Your level of success will rarely exceed your level of personal development because success is something you attract by the person you become.”
