The Unexpected Joy of Being Single

I read Eckhart Tolle, who says, ‘Stop looking outside for scraps of pleasure for fulfilment, for validation, security or love. You have a treasure within that is infinitely greater than anything the world can offer.’ It’s empowering.

‘If we did all the things we are capable of, we would literally astound ourselves.’

Now I go out of my way to admire and smile at them. Because it’s not their fault they’re beautiful. And their beauty does not rob me of anything.

waldeinsamkeit which roughly translated means – the exquisite feeling of being happily alone in the forest.

I don’t let fear define how I live my life now; I let adventure lead the way.
