Out Behind the Barn

Ronny believed his older brother and showed it with a smile. A smile full of naivety and innocence, optimism and blissful ignorance.

"Sometimes I'm real happy, almost always, but then it's like someone opens a window and instead of rain coming in it's sad and I feel real bad for a little while."

"Cats can be snooty, sure. The Egyptians claimed them as gods, and at some point the cats started believin' it. Pretty stuck up critters. But I don't think they're evil."

Some people have wings on their heels and others feet of lead. Some have anchors and others have threads that attach to whims and pull them along. I guess our Rose was one with wings and threads."
