I just love this authors wit and playful sexy way she writes. This passage here showed it, and the perfectly timed banter between the brothers and family.

Just another witty comeback this author graces you with that makes you love her. She’s so good.

“There are very few reasons good enough to miss Jesus.”

Only Nana. This is a saying that deserves to be in a ‘Quote of the Day’ book.

“Yes,” she bellows, whirling around so fast her hair follows in her wake. “I will. I will talk to who I will. And date who I will. And fuck who I will.” She glares at me. “But don’t worry. I’ll drive carefully.”

Ok, so you have to read the book to get the full affect of this, but I had to highlight the last ba dum bum line she spilled on Machlan. So perfect. He deserved it, and YOU KNOW he also found it hot as hell, as much as he did infuriating. Lol
