New Agers esteem love above all else. Ram Dass once said, “I’m interested in only being love.”[348] Many followers got into New Age in the first place because they were looking for love and community. Love, to the postmodern, New Age thinking, is evidence that a person is operating in the truth. Those who are unloving are trapped in ego and cannot have the truth.
