Every opinion is accepted—in most cases, dogmatically and uncritically, without need for philosophical cohesiveness or evidence. In one breath, the New Age movement affirms that all religions are aimed at one underlying truth about God and humanity, and in the next breath, it explicitly rejects the Bible as a source of authority on God and shuns those who cite Scripture in its proper context.
