Stage 3 – This is a “tell it like it is” stage. At this stage, people have to face the facts that change is hard and things might have to get worse before they get better. It is in this stage that they acknowledge that even in a flawed system there is some benefit that people are getting from it or the system wouldn’t be stuck where it was.
