Their meteoric descent was spectacular; the clouds streamed around them and out of their way like they were a shark and the air was made of frightened porpoises. The leading edge of the ship’s hull was glowing red hot as it rammed into the air in front of them, compacting it in a way that caused the porpoise analogy to break down somewhat, much like a porpoise experiences a mental breakdown when confronted with a shark.
