I’d never met a man quite like him. I’d never seen anyone so damn beautiful. That jawline alone was worth a million dollars. His eyes were like diamonds, and his body was hard as concrete.
“Yes, I think you’re hot. But I also think you’re a psychopath who’s overstepped his boundaries. I don’t give a damn if you’ve got the entire city on your payroll and you can move mountains and claim restaurants. Your money and power don’t impress me. I’m not like the women you’re used to—stupid, submissive, and superficial. So don’t waste another moment of your time on me—because I don’t want it.”
I wanted to taste his skin as well as his lips, claw at his back until I sliced the skin. My hands moved to his stomach, feeling his abs through the fabric of his suit. “As long as you’re gone before morning.”
And I got to be one of those lucky men. I got to fuck this queen.
I’d wanted to fuck her since I had her pinned against that wall in the alleyway, my hard dick rubbing against her clit. I’d been thinking about it ever since, smelling the stain on my jeans before jerking off.
She was the kind of woman that didn’t need a man. And that made her the perfect woman.
“I knew you didn’t hate me.” He kissed the corner of my mouth. “Not when you kiss me like that.”
I was sleeping with Bosco Roth.
“I’m not asking for forever.” I kissed the corner of her mouth. “I’m just asking for some of you…for a while.”
“You’re beautiful. From the fierce look in your eyes to your long legs, you’re absolutely perfect. I want you underneath me, whispering my name over and over as I make you come. You’re a queen, and I’m glad you’ve given me a chance to be your king.”
All I knew was I wanted her and didn’t want anyone else to have her. I wanted to enjoy her fully, come deep inside her, and fill her with my come. I wanted to take her out to dinner and show her off. I wanted to take her to my casino so men could hate me even more than they already did. I wanted to treasure her as mine and mine alone.
She had no idea how sinister my thoughts were, how much she turned me into a monster. She had every reason to be scared. She was smart to be scared.
“Always stand up for what you believe in and never back down—not even to me.” I nodded downward, indicating the gun she had stashed away. “Never settle for less than what you deserve. The more respect you earn, the more power you earn—and the safer you’ll be.”
“Beautiful, if you stabbed me, I would only want you more. So, go ahead.”
No other man had made me feel more like a woman.
“Tell me you missed me.”
“I missed you…” The weight was lifted off my shoulders as I made my confession.
“Tell me you need me.” He kept making his commands, knowing I would obey. “I need you…” I grabbed his hip and slowly pulled him inside me.
“Tell me when you want me. Call me when you need me. Use me when you want to be used. Do you understand me?”
And if she did find the courage to walk away from me, it would be the greatest mistake she ever made. Because she would find out what kind of monster I really was.
She talked about her future husband and kids, not realizing they would never exist. Because I would never let her go. Not now—not ever.
“You want to leave? Fine.” He grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me to the elevator. “Here’s the code. Five. Seven. Four. Three. Eight. Five. That’s the master code. You can come and go whenever you want.”
“One month.” He slowly recovered from the blow. “Six.” “Three.” His eyes narrowed on my face, considering the offer I had put on the table. He was quiet for so long it seemed like he was going to reject it. But finally, he gave the answer I wanted to hear. “Three.”
