I've always found the alternate terminology for that so fascinating!

Here (US) we have this:
Preschool / Pre-K - ages 4-5 (ish)
Kindergarten - age 5 (ish)
1st Grade - age 6 (ish)
2nd Grade - age 7 (ish)
