Suffer Well: Walking Victoriously Through Your Valleys

“Jesus didn’t come to make life easy; He came to make life possible.”

He does not make everything happen for a reason; He gives everything that happens a reason. This belief empowers us to pray to the One who is not the source of all our pain, but who is the hope for all our healing.

Jesus didn’t come to make me a survivor. He came to make me a conqueror. The difference is dynamic. Jesus doesn’t ask us to live through hard times; He calls us to overcome them.

Don’t make permanent decisions in temporary seasons.

In Christ, you are permanent; your pain is not. Your season is temporary; you are not.

We want God to transfer us out of our pain. God wants to transform us through our pain.
