It’s okay to be scared. People were scared in the Bible all the time. It’s possible to have both great courage and great fear. Being afraid doesn’t mean you’re making the wrong decision. Being afraid means you’re invested in the outcome.
Having faith is trusting God with whatever the outcome is. Even if it’s not the outcome we hoped for.
“You know what safe says to me? Safe means you trust me. Safe means you feel you belong. Safe means you know I will never betray you. Safe means something is secure. Not fleeting or passing or a whim.”
