EMBRACING EACH OTHER During the war in Vietnam, everyone was a victim of unintelligent policies, and in our suffering, we condemned each other and looked on each other as enemies. But in fact, we were all the victims of a government that wasn’t acting with wisdom or clarity. Southerners and Northerners alike were victims.
