Even without knowing exactly what that was, it would’ve been better to just be by myself for a while and let the smoke clear. However, as human nature would have it, I threw Molotov cocktails at my personal life instead. Initially, my goal wasn’t to be with as many girls as possible, but for however many it happened to be, keep them all at an emotionally safe distance. No lies. No games. No relationship expectations. All I had was consistent sex to offer, and it was either take it or leave it. For several months, I went all out with those who took it, sleeping with any girl who shared a mutual attraction and had good hygiene, and that’s when I learned something else; sex is way overrated. Not lovemaking. That’s the good stuff with all the kissing, touching, connecting emotionally, and holding each other afterwards. But just sex. The kind that rappers rapped about. What all the body hairless guys did in the movies. That stuff. Overrated. If you broke the “just sex” rules and made love, someone either got jealous or ended up hurt by having to be reminded of the rules and subsequently ghosted. So, one after another after another, it was the same thing, different faces. Meet a cute girl, likely in a sexually charged environment like a nightclub or house party. Talk to her, make a physical compliment, and if she smiled, exchange numbers. On the first conversation, let her know my intentions, and if she didn’t hang up immediately, schedule the sex.
