Chandrasekhar says there’s a similarity in the way both of them always thrived on being in the present and not worrying too much about what had taken place in the past. ‘After that loss in Jaipur where I had lost my cool, I came back to Chennai still smarting. Srinivasan looked at me and said, “Why the long face, VB? Let me tell you something. These guys are paid professionals. They are paid to perform and that’s what they will do.
