Schrödinger’s immigrant – the one who simultaneously steals ‘our’ jobs and claims unemployment benefit while leading a life of state-subsidised indolence
flying thousands of feet in the air in a giant tin can is against nature, but you don’t get your knickers in a twist about that.
Leviticus is pretty explicit on the subject. Chapter 11, verses 10 to 12. ‘And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you. They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcasses in abomination. Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.’
Leviticus 19:19, you’re violating God’s law if you ever wear it. You are committing a sin comparable, according to Leviticus, to lying with a man as with a woman. It’s stated pretty clearly that you’re not allowed to wear garments made of two different kinds of thread.
Americans sum it up best when they talk of people who ‘were born on third base but go through life thinking they hit a triple’.
