The narrative was so repetitive that after the first fifty or so pages I began to skip. I wanted to tell the writer to stop complaining. To accept who she was. To leave the donor family alone and be thankful for the privileged life her parents gave her. As for continually hating her mother that really was ‘beyond the pale’.
