“It’s not enough to be in the right place at the right time. You have to be the right person in the right place at the right time.”
If you want to change the visible, you must first change the invisible.
In my experience, what you cannot see in this world is far more powerful than anything you can see.
your outer world is simply a reflection of your inner world. If things aren’t going well in your outer life, it’s because things aren’t going well in your inner life. It’s that simple.
“What you hear, you forget; what you see, you remember; what you do, you understand.”
Thoughts lead to feelings. Feelings lead to actions. Actions lead to results.
Your programming leads to your thoughts; your thoughts lead to your feelings; your feelings lead to your actions; your actions lead to your results.
We are conditioned in three primary ways in every arena of life, including money: Verbal programming: What did you hear when you were young? Modeling: What did you see when you were young? Specific incidents: What did you experience when you were young?
When the subconscious mind must choose between deeply rooted emotions and logic, emotions will almost always win.
Instead of saving for a rainy day, focus on saving for a joyous day or for the day you win your financial freedom.
To my wife, money meant immediate pleasure (as in enjoying her ice cream). I, on the other hand, grew up with the belief that money was meant to be accumulated as the means to create freedom.
whenever my wife spent money, she wasn’t spending money, she was spending our future freedom. And as far as she was concerned, whenever I held her back from spending, I was taking away her pleasure in life.
Statistics show that the number one cause of all relationship breakups is money.
Nothing has meaning except for the meaning you give it.
Seventeen Ways Rich People Think and Act Differently from Poor and Middle-Class People
“When you’re in debt, don’t buy any more”
Wealth File #1 Rich people believe “I create my life.” Poor people believe “Life happens to me.”
When you are complaining, you become a living, breathing “crap magnet.”
You have to make darn sure not to put yourself in the proximity of complainers.
For the next seven days, I challenge you to not complain at all.
If you’ve been a complainer, forget about attracting success for now;
What do people get out of being a victim? The answer is attention.
Wealth File #2 Rich people play the money game to win. Poor people play the money game to not lose.
If you were to play any sport or any game strictly on defense, what are the chances of your winning that game? Most people would agree, slim and none.
When your intention is to have enough to pay the bills, that’s exactly how much you’ll get—just enough to pay the bills and not a dime more.
Wealth File #3 Rich people are committed to being rich. Poor people want to be rich.
The number one reason most people don’t get what they want is that they don’t know what they want.
The warrior’s way is simple: “I will be rich or I will die trying.”
Rich people think big. Poor people think small.
“The purpose of our lives is to add value to the people of this generation and those that follow.”
the more people you help, the “richer” you become, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and definitely financially.
“How will I know when I’ve completed my mission?” The answer? “If you are still breathing, you are not done.”
Write down what you believe to be your “natural talents.” These are things you’ve always been naturally good at.
Write down or brainstorm with a group of people how you can solve problems for ten times the number of people you affect in your job or business now. Come up with at least three different strategies.
Wealth File #5 Rich people focus on opportunities. Poor people focus on obstacles.
rich people focus on what they want, while poor people focus on what they don’t want.
If you want to get rich, focus on making, keeping, and investing your money. If you want to be poor, focus on spending your money.
“If you really want to learn a business, get into it. You don’t have to own the darn thing from day one. Get in the corridor by getting a job in the arena. You’ll learn more by sweeping up a restaurant and washing dishes than by ten years of research from the outside.”
Focus on what you have, not on what you don’t have. Make a list of ten things you are grateful for in your life
Wealth File #6 Rich people admire other rich and successful people. Poor people resent rich and successful people.
ninety-eight out of one hundred of the rich men (and women) of America are honest. That is why they are rich.
the richest people I know are the nicest people I know. They are also the most generous.
Wealth File #7 Rich people associate with positive, successful people. Poor people associate with negative or unsuccessful people.
most people earn within 20 percent of the average income of their closest friends?
“It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.”
I make it a point to only associate with successful, positive people, and just as importantly, I disassociate from negative ones.
Rich people hang around with winners. Poor people hang around with losers.
Wealth File #8 Rich people are willing to promote themselves and their value. Poor people think negatively about selling and promotion.
People who have issues with selling and promotion are usually broke.
Leaders earn a heck of a lot more money than followers!
