‘Marx believed that society is divided between the financially empowered and the financially deprived. One has everything and the other has nothing. One is the oppressor and the other the oppressed. That’s why Marx talked about a revolution when these two forces would clash and that day everything would end. This is called class struggle. But Marx didn’t realize that between these two there is a vast middle class which works as a cushion between them and prevents a direct clash.
