Feudalism prevailed and the only reason outsiders came here was to exploit its rich mineral wealth of iron ore, bauxite, tin, granite, marble, limestone, and corundum. These tribals are isolated from the rest of India– demographically, geographically, economically, socially, culturally, politically and psychologically. India has many Indias within. But they are not on the radar of the mainstream narrative.
