So, yes, law school changes you. Partly this is because law school happens during life, and life changes you, and partly it’s because law school exposes you to new ways of understanding the world. Some of this change is for the better, but as you have probably realized, some of it is not. If you are uncomfortable with some of these changes, good. It’s a sign that law school isn’t just making you into a better lawyer; it’s also making you into a more self-aware, thoughtful, and socially valuable person.
