Cathy shushed him, smiling through tears as she watched Mikey. ‘I’m not upset, I’m happy! Our boy has just spoken his first word and he is not even a year old.’ They stood side by side and laughed in delight as Mikey continued to show off his new trick. ‘When he says “mama”, I’m going to record it and make it my ring tone!’ Cathy said.
