Being with her is like listening to a song that I will always remember. It doesn’t matter how many times I listen to the song, I’ll always remember my first time hearing it. It felt like the song knew me, and not who I pretended to be when the headphones weren’t in. It felt like driving around late at night, and the song plays on the radio, and you just know it’s a song that will change your life. We aren’t perfect, we never will be. writers do it too. Only they string together sentences about all the things that might be too hard to say in person. Writers don’t just write about nothing. They write about the things kept in the deepest part of their hearts. They write with passion, with meaning. They write to show you that they care. And more than that, they trust you with their words. They give you their words, because they are trying to say “I love you.”

heartbreak will feel light, like a feather falling from the sky. Other times it will hurt so much you’ll stand in front of the mirror and beg, why? It will come and go through chapters of your life. You will cry. You will lie awake at night hoping it will pass in the morning. And it will pass. The ache will pass with every tide and return when things have come crashing down. It is a continuous cycle, here to make you stronger.

They broke your heart, so you found yourself reading texts and letters to piece together where it all went wrong. You have sleepless nights and thoughts pushing you to the limit. Because heartbreak can also mean a broken spirit.
But darling, you deserve someone who wants to love you just as much.
The hardest thing you will ever do in your life is forgive someone who never apologized. But you don’t need to do this for them; you need to do this for yourself.
Our sad truth is that we should never have tried.
I know all those love songs on the radio only remind you of the love that’s come and gone. Closing eyes and dreaming of a place where you don’t feel so alone.
Find the kind of love that doesn’t make you question their intentions. Find the kind of love that makes the distance between you worth it. Even if we never see each other again, know that in the moments we held each other’s hearts, you were what I needed most.
Sometimes I worry that I won’t find someone. That the person who deserves all this love I have to give is out there with someone else. I worry that I won’t find a love to believe in, that I won’t find a hand that fits with mine. I don’t know how I can miss someone I’ve never met, but I do.
I felt like a book that you had marked with all your favorite pages. Our love was a story that knew no boundaries. But you lost the book and unmarked all the pages, and now I’m missing our story.

Be tender with your forever
There is great freedom in only having yourself. Not having to worry about supporting anyone else, not having to think or make choices with anyone else in mind. But there is still an ache, some days duller than others, some days not felt until the early hours. Appreciate happiness, as it doesn’t often stay. But it lives through your smile, your laugh, your deep breaths of relief.
You don’t have to forgive everyone in your life. But you do have to forgive yourself. Every time. My happiest memories are all of you If you leave What am I supposed to do?

Just keep up with yourself
Some chapters don’t have happy endings. But you read on anyway, and I think that’s the point. Not to be happy all the time but to know the sun always comes back around.
You found happiness even at all your crossroads.
You can’t skip chapters, that’s not how life works. You have to read every line, meet every character. You won’t enjoy all of it. Hell, some chapters will make you cry for weeks. You will read things you don’t want to read, you will have moments when you don’t want the pages to end. But you have to keep going. Stories keep the world revolving. Live yours, don’t miss out.
Happiness is never really that far away
your smile keeps the happiness alive, and your laugh too.
