Yet the idea that we live many times in numerous incarnations and places does strike a chord with many people. Maybe we cycle from life to life, changing genders, roles, cultures, and places so that we can experience life from many angles. Perhaps every time we die, our spirit returns to a primordial soup bowl, and parts of us get ladled into newly combined spirits. We could even be our own ancestors, following those theories.
