Stay humble. I always loved being a leader. I loved making my influence felt and using my authority to accomplish results. But I learned along the way that great leaders are also great followers. They know when to point the way and when to step aside. No matter how high up in the company or corporation they may be, true professionals are always respectful of people who have more authority and responsibility than they do, and everyone with less.
