we must be done with cruelty especially to ourselves, to start again beaming like the sun; fresh.
just the certainty of knowing must be our lodestar.
There are eternities waiting just beyond the next bad movie you fear you’ll be starring in. Go to sleep. Rest your brain. Rest your heart. Rest your eyes and all your thoughts.
I am more careful of my life than it might appear. I recognize the gift it is to me; out of gratitude I protect it.
Who knows what will happen next? Craziness has a long shelf life. All we do know is now is the time to live life to the full and without regret.
We know it by our faith, not in leaders but in our belief that love can overcome our fears.
This tree, so far from its home reminds me of neighbors, of friends, of the welcome we can sometimes be for each other or find among strangers; the welcome of simple planting, and digging, eating, sharing whatever in the world is going on treasuring the delicious goodness of an unexpected moment of happiness that changes the inner landscape forever.
As usual Hope is a woman herding her children around her all she retains of who she was; as usual except for her kids she has lost almost everything.
Hope is always the teacher with the toughest homework.
Actually, in almost every house on the planet there is at least one very sweet person that you would be happy to know. Sweet people are everywhere!
it is all the simple times of sharing simple things that we have missed. The mutual teaching and learning that is, or should be, a daughter’s and a mother’s right.
But prayer is an energy that crosses mountains and deserts and continents and seas and is never stopped nor even slowed by anything.
When we have hurt others no matter our reason maturity demands we own up go to them say I am sorry and will you forgive me?
