Consciousness and the Cosmos

The movement of celestial bodies does not, however, cause the resulting number to be 91. Rather, the significance of 91 is as a coded mathematical formula that expresses a specific internal cosmic energy force with a potential astral influence upon our universe.

The Desire to Receive for the Self Alone is the energy of technology, and since that is what slavery is all about, the same mood prevails today as that which brooded over the Great Exodus.

At a physical, mundane level, no individual can make manifest any action until he has thought about what he is going to do. After the thinking process has been completed, it is then executed and put into motion.

Today, we find ourselves again dominated by this same energy force, although it is not equal to nor should it be compared to the energy force that the Egyptians displayed and controlled at the time of the Exodus. Today, this force is called “high tech.” The Egyptians had their Valley of the Kings, with its marvels of pyramids, embalming, and magic. We have Silicon Valley, where microchips are made to function as only the human mind functioned before.

We must return to the ultimate computer—the human brain.

At the time of Exodus, a specific date in the month of Aries, a confrontation occurred between two internal energy forces, which were not represented by physical matter but which were so potent that when the event occurred, through kabbalistic knowledge of cosmology, it destroyed the head (the rosh) of the material energy that existed as Desire to Receive for the Self Alone.

Enter a darkened room and light a match, and you’ve done away with darkness. It is that simple. The two do not appear together. Light is not merely the absence of darkness, nor is darkness simply the absence of light. Darkness is a very potent cosmic energy force as the Zohar39 makes clear: “In the beginning, in the Ein Sof, there was no coloring of any kind whatsoever. Neither white, neither black, neither green, neither red. No coloring whatsoever.” We learn from the Zohar that each color represents an internal energy force, and this includes black.

For Abraham, the Exodus, and modern man, timing was and is of the essence—whether modern man consciously knows it or not. If one changes metaphysical DNA that which already has been designated by the DNA is also changed. One may thus alter the course and consequences

of a year or even of a lifetime. The timing of an event is equally important when knowledge of the information process being transferred or transmitted at a particular time is available. Therefore, the essential timing of Exodus, as stated in the Zohar40, was on the 10th and 14th days of Nissan.

The Islamic calendar, which reckons time from July 16, 622 C.E., is entirely lunar in nature, so the year consists of 354 days. Thus, their festivals wander through the solar seasons. Certainly, a need must have been felt to stabilize this measurement of time and to fix the days in orderly cycles dictated by the celestial bodies, but it has never been done. Is there, then, a metaphysical intelligence that has programmed the Moslem world not to adopt the more logical systems of the Gregorian and kabbalistic calendars? Can we assume that some internal energy field central to the Moslem people directed their choice of a lunar system?

On July 20, 1969, the Apollo 11 astronauts became the first humans to set foot on the moon. From that moment on, the moon became one of the best-known celestial bodies outside of Earth. When Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin Jr. returned home after making the first human footprints on the moon, they brought back scores of photographs as well

as rock and soil samples.

The principles of Kabbalah, being spiritual, must of necessity transcend the notions of independent, private prejudices or delusions of racial superiority. Ultimately, the student of Kabbalah will have the opportunity to rise above these beliefs instilled in him from childhood and become uplifted by a spiritual light—the Light of Wisdom.

Was Joshua’s miracle in stopping the sun then a natural phenomenon or does man actually have the ability to move and motivate stars, repel their negative influences, and tap into their positive energy forces?

What has become apparent is that the determining factor of cosmic upheaval is directly linked to the actions of man.

This is how and why the Israelites, starting with the patriarch Abraham, were able to cast off their early belief in the deity of the stars, a belief shared with other nations, and embrace the one, all-inclusive God.

Abraham received the knowledge of astral influences in its entirety, with the conclusion that it was to the internal positive energy force that we were to connect and tap, and not the external intelligence of the negative energy force.

Prayers for us are channels by which we can tap the cosmic energy that appears on that particular day. All such holidays and festivals are cosmological time frames for astrological influences that the naked eye certainly cannot observe. Consequently, what has been provided for us in that mass of words called the Bible is merely the timetable of those cosmological events; when they take place and what forces they bring to hand. These events are referred to as festivals, or in the Bible, as precepts by which we can tap into that incredible cosmic energy force for our use and prevent negative astral energies from reaching us. Nearly all who pray in good faith, whether Jew, Moslem, or Christian, will testify that their prayers are frequently answered, but few, if any of them, know why. How much more powerful their prayers would be if they did.

It was a confrontation during which the Israelites created a cosmic energy force called freedom.

The most distressing aspect of what was occurring in Egypt and throughout the world during the time of the Israelites’ bondage was not so much the gravity of all the suffering they had undergone but the dampening of the human spirit—the freedom of thought and action so vital to independent individuals. Pesach was able to address that specific problem and provide freedom to the spirit.

Today, as never before, we are ruled by an unprecedented interconnectedness of effects. Something that happens in China directly influences American perceptions and living patterns.

The Glory of God, in kabbalistic terminology, is the force or energy source of God, and to bring it down to the terrestrial is to connect with and control the Divine Chariot.

When we come to the realization that the mind supersedes and surpasses physical energy, then how far are we from mind-powered aircraft?

In this book, I have described the cosmic connection between man and the cosmos and have endeavored to show that man determines the activity of our solar system.

Our search to determine man’s place in the cosmos is only half the task. The other half is to establish the sort of power and influence man has on his environment—terrestrial and extraterrestrial—and to understand the power that nature holds over us.

The journey pursued in these pages has been an attempt to track down the cosmic power sources of our universe, and once the cosmic connection has been bonded, to embark on a journey toward unity with the Father of our universe, the all-embracing Unity of energy-intelligence.

The tapping of this energy by Moses permitted the energy-intelligence force, through mental effort, to control the molecular motion of the bird’s wing, thereby preventing it from flying.

Mind control of this nature was at one time a principle reserved for only a select few kabbalists. However, in the Age of Aquarius, “all mankind shall know.” (Jeremiah 31:33) Mind control, whereby thought processes can control the movement of molecules, was used during the Great Exodus.

Furthermore, metaphysical manifestations are always the primary reality and essence, which manifest themselves ultimately as a web of material, physical patterns.

To be more precise, it is the manifestation of thought that precedes the emergence of material patterns.

The seven planetary bodies that are in constant motion, which are referred to by names of a lower, external dimension, namely, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, and the Moon are symbolic and directed by its seven internal cosmic influences, which are concealed from the knowledge of conventional astrology. These seven astral forces are the seven Sefirot of Mercy, Judgment, Beauty, Victory, Splendor, Foundation, and Kingdom.
