“I’m sorry I can’t be who you deserve. I’m sorry I keep coming back,” I admit. “But, mostly … I’m sorry I ever left in the first place.”
“You’re worth everything I have, Kens,” he whispers, and a small smile takes over my lips. “Everything I am is already yours; you just have to take it.” Tears brim my eyes, and I nod. He’s right. About everything. This won’t be easy. Not even a little bit. But he’s worth it. We’re worth it.
