Silicon Valley is a true meritocracy. The best idea with the best execution wins. In Hollywood I was always going to be judged against my own legacy at CAA, whereas in Silicon Valley I was judged simply on the ideas I brought to the whiteboard. My big mistake, in retrospect, had been starting AMG when I should have moved to Silicon Valley and become a principal in the tech revolution.
