I think this is my favourite question.

A friend once went to watch something she had taped years earlier only to discover that one of her family had taped over it shortly after the original recording. As she looked through to see if any of her programme still existed she came across me being interviewed in the street on the local news.

Well it is the best.

My friend Alastair once got stopped on his way to an exam by the police because his car matched the description of one they were looking for (an orange Hillman Imp!). When he could prove that his car wasn’t the one that they were looking for they let him go on his way. On the way back from his exam they stopped him again. He started to point out that they already knew that it was his car but they told him they were after some people to take part in a line up and they had recognised his car and knew he fitted the look they were after. He got paid a fiver or something to be in the line up.
