Some of the secrets for achieving self-made millionaire status have nothing to do with money. You will see that they have to do with your character, your attitude, your people skills, your saving and spending patterns, and your habits in general.
The majority of self-made millionaires live below their means. Some even fit the frugal category.
Create their own destinies. Use their time wisely.
Have a high emotional quotient. Are confident. Are trustworthy. Think “outside the box.” Recognize the value of simplicity. Are creative. Keep doing “it” until they succeed. Do not let their success status inflate their egos. Respect their bodies. Enrich their minds. Recognize that they are only as good as the people in their lives. Have the right priorities. Are givers rather than takers. Plan for their futures. Treat money with respect. Are resourceful.
Self-made millionaires achieve their success status because of how they interpret outcomes. Whereas most people see unexpected outcomes as failures, self-made millionaires use these outcomes as launching pads for their next try.
They begin with the end in mind.

Define your dream. Make sure it is for the good of all. Document the goal behind your dream. Begin making your goal a reality by documenting it in clear terms and/or by finding a picture of what you want and placing it in a location that you see daily. “Act as if” it has already happened.
The 3 percent of individuals who had clearly written goals ten years earlier were earning, on average, ten times as much as the other 97 percent put together!
Avoid “paralysis analysis” (overthinking situations). Instead, give yourself a deadline for taking control of unexpected situations. The worst decision is often no decision.
Touch mail once—or not at all. Time masters do their best to touch things once—or not at all—by automating bills. When receiving bills via snail mail, they open and pay them at once rather than setting them aside to pay later.
