Finding out what is happening with your friends and family is a core human desire, right smack in the middle of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Zuckerberg had once mused that someday somebody was going to make a community site that would satisfy the need to know what’s up with your friends—but for the entire planet. And when they did so, they’d be building an amazing company.
