there was a fine line between determination and delusion.
I actually have experienced it and concluded at a point in my life that you're just blinding yourself by being exclusively positive about something. It's a good thing to stay positive and determined but at some point you have to face reality as well and i think sometimes the only way to grow is by accepting things as they are.
