Lifelong learning via online platforms is a nice idea, and I believe retraining workers will be an important piece of the puzzle. It can particularly help those individuals within the bottom-right quadrant of our risk-of-replacement charts from chapter 6 (the “Slow Creep” zone) stay ahead of AI’s ability to think creatively or work in unstructured environments. I also like that this method can give these workers a sense of personal accomplishment and agency in their own lives.
