Eight Dates: Essential Conversations for a Lifetime of Love

Unfortunately my parents didn’t teach me anything about money everything I’ve learned about money I’ve learned on my own

As I’ve gotten older I do see the value and saving for retirement and balancing that with splurging on experiences that give our lives more value while we’re healthy enough to enjoy it

I don’t know how to answer this one because I don’t know what my parents values worry about money other than my mom was the saver and my dad was the spender. I think that there is value in a balance

I’m very fortunate and that I don’t have a very painful money memory. I believe the worst memory I have came in early adulthood when I blew a large amount of cash partying and had to scramble to come up with rent luckily my roommate covered me and I was able to pay it back over time.

My happiest and best money memories Come regularly when we are able to take our spectacular vacations together. Those are truly what I live to work for. I can’t choose a favorite because we’ve had so many great experiences and each one of them is special in their own way and I look forward to making more of them in the future with you
