They’re going to stop and you’re just going to nip round.’ Translation: these cars can be bullied. Stilgoe agrees: ‘People who’ve been relatively powerless on roads up’til now, like cyclists, may start cycling very slowly in front of self-driving cars, knowing that there is never going to be any aggression.’
